About this project

Green Valley Agriculture and Policy Innovation (GVAPI) implemented a Climate-Smart Community Agriculture Initiative designed to enhance productivity, strengthen resilience, and promote sustainable land management practices among smallholder farmers.

The project focused on introducing conservation agriculture techniques, climate adaptation strategies, and biodiversity-friendly farming methods. Through targeted capacity-building workshops and field demonstrations, local farmers were equipped with practical knowledge and tools to improve yields while protecting ecosystems.

GVAPI also integrated data-driven monitoring systems to track performance outcomes, assess climate risk exposure, and optimize resource use. The initiative strengthened community participation, improved market linkages, and enhanced long-term agricultural sustainability within the target region.
